Vmware sensor

As response on fews reguest we prepare Debian (etch) installation with Nepenthes from subversion, all prepared on Vmware image. Sensor is possible get from here http://www.honeynet.cz/dl/vm-honey.tar.gz.

It is basic netinstall verze Debian (etch). Sensor is installed in /opt/nepenthes/, logs are in /opt/nepenthes/var/log/logged_submissions and /opt/nepenthes/var/log/logged_downloads, downloaded malware is in /opt/nepenthes/var/binaries/. Sensor is starting automaticaly after boot, only one thing is need setup and that is network interface and IP.

This image is ideal for easy and quick test of honeypot funcionality. With Vmware technology, specialy with Vmware player is possible run sensor within few minutes.
